Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued the 2025 Typical Application Practices of 5G Factories. Standing out from 1,260 listed 5G factory projects nationwide, the 5G Factory of TMT Innovation Center has been successfully selected into the first batch of 100 national typical 5G factory application practice projects. It is the only enterprise in Hunan Province to receive this honor.

To further implement the innovation-driven development strategy for the industrial internet and accelerate the high-quality development and large-scale application of the "5G + Industrial Internet" integration, MIIT launched the 5G Factory "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand" initiative in 2022. The initiative aims to build 100 benchmark factories, complete the construction of 1,000 standardized 5G factories, and promote the construction of 10,000 factories. To date, China has supported the construction of over 23,000 industrial 5G private networks and released a roster of 1,260 5G factory projects.

On this basis, MIIT organized the first selection of typical application practices for 5G factories. After expert review and on-site verification, 100 advanced and benchmark-leading typical application practice projects of 5G factories were finalized. The successful selection of the 5G Factory of TMT Innovation Center fully demonstrates the company’s forward-looking strategic planning and solid technological strength in intelligent manufacturing upgrading and digital transformation throughout the 14th Five-Year Plan period, placing the enterprise at the forefront of the industry.

Driven by technological integration, the 5G Factory of the Innovation Center deeply integrates new-generation 5G communication technologies with cutting-edge intelligent equipment technologies. It has innovatively built distinctive "5G + Industrial Internet" application scenarios covering 13 key links, including R&D and design, production and manufacturing, equipment operation and maintenance, quality control, warehousing and logistics, as well as energy and carbon management. With leading technology implementation capabilities and remarkable practical results, the factory has set a benchmark for the digital and intelligent upgrading of the rail transit vibration and noise reduction industry.

Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, TMT will continue to give full play to its benchmarking leading role, actively participate in the standard system construction and collaborative innovation of the "5G + Industrial Internet" ecosystem, and further boost integrated empowerment of "5G + Industrial Internet" and artificial intelligence. The company will accelerate the implementation of digital transformation achievements and contribute more "TMT wisdom and solutions" to the high-quality upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
